Wichita church asks community for help after being vandalized on Friday night
WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Members of a Wichita church are asking for help after it was vandalized on Friday night.
Early Saturday morning, ZAIK Church members discovered that the property had been vandalized at around 11:30 p.m. on Friday. Surveillance footage showed a person breaking multiple glass doors and windows on the back of the building, according to a social media post made by Pastor Stephen Luna.

Altogether, nine panes of glass were broken. Luna said there is no evidence of theft or anyone entering the building.
The post said that church leadership has filed a report with the Wichita Police Department and are working with their insurance provider to make repairs, but they are still looking for community support.
Anyone interested in helping clean up the facility is asked to contact church leadership.
Luna also said that although insurance will help them, it takes time, so the church is asking for financial help replacing furniture and equipment in the kids spaces that are covered in glass.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact ZAIK Church and the Wichita Police Department at wpdinvestigations@wichita.gov with a reference to case number 26C533110.
